Thomas Wheildon is Director of Operations for Central, Southwestern and Northern Ontario. His experience expands almost three decades in the Security Industry. He too started at the bottom and worked his way up to where in the 2000?s was managing security for major concert event Venues such as Massey Hall, American Idol, Big Music Week, Canadian Music Week, Cobble Beach Concours D? Elegance Car Show, Edge Fest, Havelock Jamboree, Juno Awards, Luminato, Octoberfest, Roy Thompson Hall, Barrie Molson Centre and Wake Stock.

Then in the late 2000 Tom moved into doing personal protection for: Alan Jackson, Barry Manilow, Bon Jovi, Cirque du Soleil, Elton John, Jean Simmons, Dianna Krall, James Taylor, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Kiss, Lenard Cohen, Pink, Russel Peters, Tragically Hip, Carol Burnett, Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood and The Trews.

Meet Director of Operations Thomas Wheildon

Mr. Wheildon has extensive background in Security in the GTA area in his local Community. Seeing the increase in private parking and by Law enforcement in larger centres also made him feel that there was a need in rural Ontario.

In 2011, Tom opened an office in Owen Sound, ON to service the fast growing needs of Grey Bruce and Simcoe County. ?Protecting the Sound and Around!? A chance meeting in 2013 with Ken Soederhuysen of OBN Security during a Staff Training Certification Course and the introduction to Felix Valdez initiated the partnership between Felix and Tom with OBN Security and Investigative Consultants. Tom?s responsibility with OBN is the recruitment of Staff to satisfy the Company?s growing needs for Security in Central Southwestern and Northern Ontario.

Tom specializes in Contracts and Service Agreements as they impact OBN Security and new Clients. One of the keys of success is retaining your existing Clients and satisfying their needs establishing what works, what needs to be improved on and making the proper changes to provide the Client with a better end product and satisfaction.

Tom is professional when meeting new Clients and when on the job. He not only uses professionalism, but discretion and confidentiality is of extreme importance in his field.
